Event Overview
Joe Martin will record a live album at The Green Hotel on the 18th of April titled 'The Next Five Years'. The recording continues the story begun with his first live album, The First Five Years, and audience members are invited to be part of it: every ticket includes a digital copy of the finished live album. The evening will revisit songs from Joe’s second studio album, Alone In Valentine, produced by Cal Campbell in Nashville, TN, and will introduce new material destined for his next studio record.
Concept and Experience
The Next Five Years is conceived as a bridge between studio eras and a document of Joe’s evolving songwriting. Joe’s storytelling flourishes in a live setting; the chemistry between performer and audience creates an immediacy that can’t be replicated in the studio. This show is an invitation to join that moment and to be immortalised on record.
Ticket holders will also receive priority access to pre-order a strictly limited-edition vinyl pressing of the live album.
