Description

At the appointed time, we'll meet by the alley of Advocates Close. From there, we'll take a short walk to Waverley Station, where we'll hop on the train to Stirling, one of Scotland's historic gems. The trip lasts about 50 minutes, perfect time to enjoy the scenery. Upon arrival, we'll welcome you to what was the most important city in medieval Scotland, a key setting for the Wars of Independence. We'll stroll through its beautiful historic center while we discover the episodes that marked the country's destiny. During the visit, you'll admire iconic places like the old prison, Holy Rude Church, the Mercat Cross, and the remains of its walls. It'll be a tour full of stories and curiosities that will take you back in time. Before continuing, you'll have some free time to eat, relax, or discover the local cuisine on your own. Then we'll head to the spectacular Stirling Castle, where we'll spend about an hour and a half exploring its rooms, courtyards, and panoramic views. There, you'll learn the fascinating stories of Robert the Bruce, Mary Stuart, and James IV, key figures in the kingdom's history. After about seven hours of sightseeing, we'll head back to Edinburgh and end the tour at Waverley Station. If you prefer, you can also return on your own.
