Description

Enjoy a celebration of Scotland's national drink on a whisky-tasting experience just off of Edinburgh's famous Royal Mile. Taste four single malt scotch whiskies and enjoy storytelling from your guide. Meet your guide at Hot Toddy, our own venue, built specifically for us to host this event. Over the next two hours, drink 4 outstanding single malt scotch whiskies taken from the 4 major whisky-producing regions of Scotland. Hear the stories such as how how Scotland’s whisky was made illegally, with secret stills hidden in the glens and smugglers outwitting the excisemen. If you don't like whisky but still want to immerse yourself in a Scottish storytelling session that's quite alright, drink alternatives are available on request. Taste whiskies which range from the relatively delicate and subtle flavours of the Lowlands to the bold and robust tastes of Islay. We have tasting notes that accompany each of the whiskies we sample. During the tour, experience some traditional storytelling and explore the significance of whisky to the Scottish identity. We have built out our bespoke whisky lounge so you can sit in comfort for this story-orientated event.
