Embark on a 4-day adventure from Edinburgh to the Scottish Highlands and the islands of Mull and Iona. Day 1: Wave goodbye to Edinburgh as you hit the road west, kicking things off with a visit to the bonnie banks of Loch Lomond. First stop: Luss, a postcard-perfect village where lochside views and charming cottages set the scene. Then it’s onwards to the legendary Rest and Be Thankful viewpoint, Highland beauty at its finest. Lunchtime lands you in Inveraray, where you can explore at your own pace. Then, step back in time at the ancient Dunadd Fort, a place where Scotland’s early kings once stood to claim their throne. Continue to the bustling port town of Oban, gateway to the isles, where you hop on a ferry bound for Mull. Your home for the next two nights is the colorful, picture-perfect fishing village of Tobermory. Day 2: Rise and shine for an unforgettable wildlife cruise to the remote Treshnish Isles and Staffa. With a wildlife guide on board, keep your eyes peeled for seabirds, seals, eagles, dolphins, or even whales, depending on the season. Then comes the showstopper: Fingal’s Cave, a natural wonder famous for its towering basalt columns and eerie, organ-like echoes as the waves crash inside. Land on Staffa Island, where the real VIPs await: puffins. These quirky little birds steal the show as they waddle around in their natural habitat. Take it all in, the raw beauty, the wild landscapes, and the absolute peace of this remote paradise. After a day packed with wildlife, ocean air, and jaw-dropping scenery, sail back to Tobermory, where the evening is yours to soak up the island vibes. Grab a tasty bite for lunch, visit the legendary Iona Abbey, or simply wander the soft white beaches and let the island’s magic sink in. Day 4: Your island escape might be over, but Scotland still has a few final treats up its sleeve. Hit the road through the dramatic landscapes of Glen Coe, steeped in legend and tragedy, before crossing the wild and untamed Rannoch Moor. We advise you to organise transport to the departure point in advance and make sure you arrive at least 15 minutes early for check-in; late arrivals cannot be refunded and we cannot delay departure. Return times are approximate and subject to weather/travel conditions - allow at least 3 hours for onward travel or reservations. Each traveler may bring 1 suitcase (max 33lbs/15kg) and 1 carry-on.
