Description

Day 1 We start our small group tour journey from Edinburgh, heading west past Stirling towards the picturesque Loch Lomond. Capture stunning photos at the Rest and Be Thankful viewpoint and enjoy lunch and free time in the charming town of Inveraray. Visit the historic Dunadd Fort before making our way to the lively port town of Oban. From here, we take a ferry to Mull and settle in for two nights in Tobermory. Day 2 Following breakfast, we embark on a cruise to the Treshnish Isles and Staffa. Relax on a water adventure around the Treshnish Isles, keeping watch for dolphins, seals, eagles, and whales with insights from our wildlife guide. Spend time spotting puffin* colonies nestled in burrows amid wildflowers. Learn about the giants and geology of the area as we sail to Staffa and marvel at Fingal’s Cave. Return to Tobermory, where we’ll stay in this charming, colorful harbor town for another night. Day 3 We travel across the rugged terrain of Mull to reach the serene Isle of Iona, known as the sacred heart of Scotland. Enjoy ample free time to have lunch, visit Iona Abbey, and stroll along the white sand beaches. Later, we ferry back to Oban, where you can savor fresh seafood and mingle with locals on our final night. Day 4 Leaving Oban, we drive through the awe-inspiring scenery of Glen Coe, across the vast Rannoch Moor, and through areas once roamed by Rob Roy. We visit a whisky distillery to learn about single malt production and taste it directly from the source. Our adventure concludes as we return to Edinburgh in the evening, after four memorable days! *The puffin breeding season usually takes place between late April to mid-August. Puffin encounters cannot be guaranteed.
