This leg of the trip passes by Stirling and Doune Castles and has plenty of spots for photos and short walks. Enjoy your first night in the coastal city of Oban, Scotland's seafood capital. On the second day, stop by Loch Morar and go to the Island of Skye and spend the night in Portree. Explore picturesque outdoors sites such as the Fairy Pools, Quiraing, and the Old Man of Storr. On the third day, make your way to the capital of the Highlands: Inverness. Take advantage of this opportunity to visit Eilean Donan and Urquhart Castles and the famous Loch Ness.
