Take some free time to pick up some lunch. Head to the 14th-century Doune Castle, built by the Duke of Albany, Scotland's uncrowned king. Seen in Outlaw King and Outlander (as Castle Leoch) this is a location for Monty Python & the Holy Grail and Game of Thrones. Finally, visit the 15th-century Blackness Castle, used extensively for filming, as it lends itself well to medieval productions. Seen in the trailer for Mary Queen of Scots and used for key scenes in Outlaw King, it is also known to Outlander fans as Fort William.
