The Ale House Bar & Venue can be found in the Newington area of the city and is in walking distance from the City Centre- hosting 6 nights of live music each week! During the day The Ale House is a traditional pub where you can enjoy a cask-conditioned ale at your leisure while chatting to the locals and if you want to have some peace and quiet there are always daily papers available.
The bar comes alive in the evenings with live sessions including a Spanish Music Night on a Monday from 8pm, Songwriter's Night every Tuesday, a Open/ Acoustic Jam session on a Thursday, a very popular Open-mic Night on a Friday and a special Blues Session on a Sunday afternoon from 4pm, which is followed by the Pub Quiz in the evening.
