Directions to The Blackbird
The Blackbird is a new and trendy pub in the Tollcross area of Edinburgh with an extensive cocktail menu, great food and a vibrant atmosphere. Drawing inspiration from iconic London styles, The Blackbird joins its siblings Hamilton’s and Treacle as the newest venture from the Big Red Teapot group.
The Blackbird brings together elements of old and new by highlighting the Victorian features of the bar and pairing them with art deco furniture and bold, contemporary colours. With brightly upholstered and well-loved furniture, gorgeous original exposed stonework, and colourful artwork, the bar grabs your attention yet puts you at ease. The drinks list is impressive in its scope, offering the classics alongside new concoctions and creative twists.
You can find The Blackbird in Tollcross (it's not easy to miss with a bright orange bicycle out front!) which is near the Meadows and the popular residential and student areas of Bruntsfield and Marchmont. The Blackbird offers friendly and personal service for everything from lunch to a night out with friends. The bar appeals to students, business people, travellers, locals and more - plus, a cheery beer garden out back means that they are dog-friendly! The Blackbird is not to be missed, so pop in some time soon.
