Harvey Nichols
Edinburgh
Harvey Nichols in Edinburgh is the first and only Harvey Nichols store in Scotland. As such, it is a big draw for Scottish shopaholics. This upmarket department store is big on fashion and beauty and has quite the selection of designer brands for your browsing and purchasing pleasure.
Found in St. Andrews Square (at the East End of Princes Street), Harvey Nichols is easily accessible, yet removed from some of Princes Street's hustle and bustle. Nestled in amongst other designer shops (and just round the corner from the Scottish National Portrait Gallery), Harvey Nichols has five glorious floors with everything you could want for your beauty, fashion, and dining needs.
The ground floor is full to the brim with beauty products and accessories, and the next three levels are devoted to the best in men's and women's fashion. Harvey Nichols also offers a personal shopping service: you leave shopping hassles to a helpful style expert while you sit back and relax in the luxurious personal shopping suite. If you're so inclined, there is also a range of spa and beauty treatments available from Beyond MediSpa, which can be found on the second floor.
As you would expect, Harvey Nichols' reputation for quality fashion and beauty is upheld in its Edinburgh shop as in its other locations, making it an ideal spot to shop to your heart's content.
In addition to finding the latest styles, you can also taste a fantastic Scottish menu on the top floor at the Forth Floor restaurant, named after the Firth of Forth. The fine dining restaurant, bar and brasserie has 32 metres of floor to ceiling windows and a wrap around terrace offering panoramic views of Edinburgh's skyline from the castle to the Firth of Forth. While you're on the top floor, you can also browse the Foodmarket, an impressive array of high-quality Harvey Nichols branded food items, wine and whisky.
