Centrally based on the east end of Princes Street, this below ground shopping mall has become a victim of the recession with many empty shop units.

Princes Mall Shopping Centre is one of the premier shopping centres in Edinburgh, located just off Princes Street next to Waverley Station. This is the only indoor shopping venue on the world famous Princes Street, and comprises of three floors.

Laid down in the 1980s, Princes Mall has been built underground, connecting Waverly Station and Princes Street. At the top of the mall, a separate entrance leads to the Tourist Information Centre.

Shops that can be found within, include Internacionale, Whisky Shop, CULT Clothing, PULP, The Body Shop, Warehouse, Regis, New Look, Gleneagles of Scotland, etc. Also inside are various cafés and eateries including Costa, Subway, KFC, McDonalds, Spud U Like, Coffee Stop, Harry Ramsdens and Julian Graves.
