The Edinburgh Bookshop is owned by Malcolm and Vanessa Robertson, who are in the shop as much as possible, aided by a of part-time staff – Cat, children’s specialist; Lila, a student at Edinburgh University, studying for a Phd in Scottish literature and Brenda, a keen reader.
