Itinerary
Day 1
Explore Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park with views over Loch Lomond before continuing to Glencoe valley. Visit Rannoch Moor, the Three Sisters of Glencoe, and learn about the Glencoe Massacre. See a replica ancient Turf and Kreel House to understand historic Highland life. Pass through Fort William, located at the foot of Ben Nevis, then visit the Glenfinnan Viaduct, known as the Harry Potter train bridge, with a background on Bonnie Prince Charlie and the Jacobite Uprisings. End the day with a boat crossing from Mallaig to the Isle of Skye.
Day 2
Spend the day on the Isle of Skye visiting Dunvegan Castle and learning about the MacLeod clan. Explore locations including Lealt Falls, Kilt Rock, Fairy Glen, and the ruins of Duntulm Castle.
Day 3
Cross the Skye Bridge to visit Eilean Donan Castle and its dramatic surroundings. Then cruise on Loch Ness with a chance to spot the Loch Ness Monster. Enjoy a short walk at a Nature Reserve near Cairngorms National Park showcasing conservation efforts. Return via the Victorian town of Pitlochry, a favourite of Queen Victoria.
