Day 1: Depart Edinburgh and stop for photos of the Forth Road and Rail Bridges. In Fife, visit Lindores Abbey Distillery, the spiritual home of Scotch whisky, for a tour and two whisky tastings including Aqua Vitae, a handcrafted botanical spirit. Continue north to Arbikie Distillery on the Angus coast for lunch and a tour focused on sustainable whisky production. Finish the day with a visit to Dunnottar Castle ruins before arriving in Aberdeen for overnight accommodation at a four-star hotel.

Day 2: Travel to Aberdeenshire's GlenDronach distillery for a tour and tasting of sherry cask matured whiskies. Visit Strathisla Distillery to create your own blended whisky and participate in a warehouse tasting. Then journey along the River Spey to Grantown-on-Spey, staying two nights at a high-quality local B&B.

Day 3: Drive along the River Spey and visit the Speyside Cooperage to learn coopering and sample a 10-year-old single malt. Tour GlenAllachie distillery with tastings of exclusive and peated Speyside whiskies. After lunch at the Highlander Inn, visit Cardhu distillery for a tour and a tasting challenge identifying five whiskies.

Day 4: After a second night in Grantown-on-Spey, visit Glenlivet Distillery for a single cask tasting. Travel through Cairngorms National Park to Pitlochry for lunch and exploration. End the tour with a visit to Blair Athol distillery before returning to Edinburgh.
