Begin your day of exercise and exploration by meeting your group and guide at Bridgend Farmhouse, approximately 10 minutes by car or Uber from The Royal Mile. After a brief introduction, set off along cycle paths through Holyrood Park. The route includes riding through the Innocent Railway Tunnel, built in 1831 and the oldest tunnel in the UK, located beneath Arthur's Seat.

Within Holyrood Park, stop for photo opportunities featuring Arthur's Seat, an extinct volcano, and views over the city of Edinburgh. You will then follow the John Muir Way cycle path to Portobello Beach, where you can take a break, enjoy refreshments, or have a swim in the North Sea.
