The tour departs early from Edinburgh heading north to the Highlands. The first stop is Kilmahog farm, where you can meet the Highland cattle known as 'Hairy Cows' and enjoy a coffee or breakfast.
Next, the group visits Glen Coe Valley, stopping at up to three viewpoints to photograph the landscape and the Three Sisters rock formations.
In Fort Augustus, on Loch Ness’s southern shore, you will sail on the lake to try spotting the legendary Nessie. Fort Augustus also offers the opportunity to photograph the iconic Loch Ness sign.
There is time to access local restaurants and takeaways to refuel before continuing the journey along the 37-kilometre length of Loch Ness to Inverness. You can walk along Inverness’s streets and riverside, taking in the city atmosphere.
The final stop is the Victorian village of Pitlochry before the return journey to Edinburgh. If timing goes as planned, the day ends around 20:30.
