Description
Depart Edinburgh for a day trip to the Highlands, passing the Kelpies of Falkirk, the world’s largest horse-head sculptures. Continue through scenic landscapes alongside Loch Earn.
Stop at Glenturret Distillery for lunch and an optional whisky tasting to experience Scotland’s national drink.
Visit the Hermitage forest in Perthshire to take a short walk to Black Linn Falls on the River Braan. On the return route, explore Dunkeld village, known for its cathedral on the River Tay and historic ties to Macbeth.
Return to Edinburgh travelling past the Forth Bridge, a notable 19th-century engineering landmark.
