Description

Departing Edinburgh, the journey heads north, passing landmarks including Stirling Castle. The landscape changes from the gentle Lowlands to the rugged, forested glens of Trossachs National Park, once home to the outlaw Rob Roy MacGregor.

There is a stop for a short break in Callander before continuing deeper into the Highlands. The route crosses Rannoch Moor and arrives at Glencoe, known for its dramatic slopes and film appearances. Your driver-guide will share stories of Scotland’s tragic past amid the scenery.

After some photo opportunities, the tour proceeds to a local town for a leisurely lunch. The afternoon continues to Glenfinnan, overlooking Loch Shiel and home to the Glenfinnan Monument and Viaduct, both linked to the Jacobite Uprising and popular with Harry Potter fans. There is time to explore the monument and watch for the Jacobite Steam Train, which may cross the viaduct but is not guaranteed.
