Description
Explore the Scottish Highlands on this day trip by bus from Edinburgh. Discover notable sights such as Doune Castle and Inveraray Castle while driving past historic Stirling Castle. Enjoy natural landscapes including Loch Lubnaig, Glen Ogle, and the Arrochar Alps.
Board the spacious air-conditioned bus in Edinburgh and head west. Pass Stirling Castle, perched on volcanic rock, and visit Doune Castle, known for its feature in 'Monty Python and the Holy Grail'.
Stop for refreshments in Luss, a charming village by the loch. Cross the scenic Arrochar Alps with a short break near the summit of the Rest and Be Thankful Pass.
Arrive in Inveraray, a mid-18th century town on Loch Fyne. Enjoy free time to explore, shop for Highland souvenirs, or take an optional visit to Inveraray Castle (closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays), the historic home of the Duke of Argyll.
