Description

The tour begins early from Edinburgh with a visit to the Kelpies, two large steel horse-head sculptures celebrating Scottish heritage.

Next, head north into the Highlands. Choose to visit Glenturret Distillery to learn about whisky production and enjoy a tasting (children must be 12+ for this tour). Alternatively, explore Crieff with its unique shops and cafés.

The route continues through the Sma’ Glen, a scenic valley rich in Highland history involving clans and Jacobites.

Stop at The Hermitage, an ancient forest with waterfalls and rivers. Follow woodland trails to Black Linn Falls, once part of a royal retreat.

The final stop is Dunkeld, a village on the River Tay featuring historic cathedral ruins and a relaxed atmosphere.
