Description
The tour departs Edinburgh, heading first to the Forth Bridges Viewpoint to see three iconic bridges built in 1890, 1964, and 2017.
Travel through the Kingdom of Fife, enjoying views of rolling hills and fertile farmlands before arriving at the East Neuk coastal villages. The first stop is Anstruther, a traditional fishing village with cobbled streets and a seafront harbor to explore.
Next is St Andrews, Scotland’s oldest university town, known for its golf course, cathedral ruins, and castle. Here you have free time for lunch and to explore at your own pace.
The tour continues to Falkland, a village featuring Falkland Palace and locations from the Outlander series. On the return to Edinburgh, the route passes Loch Leven, historically known as the prison site of Mary Queen of Scots.
