Description
This small group tour explores Scotland’s history and landscapes, suitable for visitors wanting to see Stirling Castle, Loch Lomond, and a whisky distillery in one day.
Start at Stirling Castle, former home to Scottish royalty until the early 17th century. You can tour the castle or stroll through Old Stirling, Scotland’s ancient capital.
On route to Loch Lomond, you will spot highland cows and pass lochs and mountains. Arriving at Loch Lomond around lunchtime, choose between a boat trip on the loch or a short nature walk to a viewpoint overlooking Scotland’s largest lake.
End the day at Glengoyne Distillery in the southern Highlands. Named after ‘Glen Guin’ or Glen of the Wild Geese, the distillery has produced single malt whisky for nearly 200 years. Tour the facility and sample the 10-year-old whisky.
