Usher Hall
Edinburgh
Usher Hall is a grand concert hall and entertainment venue, located in the heart of Edinburgh. It is home to Royal Scottish National Orchestra which performs here throughout the year, but also hosts visiting acts that includes jazz bands, rock and pop artists and comedians. With a stunning organ, fantastic acoustics, and a long and reputable history, Usher Hall is one of Edinburgh's top venues.
The Usher Hall recently underwent an ambitious rejuvenation project that has made the space even more elegant and beautiful. The renovated building has an aesthetic that combines old and new. Both the interior and exterior are resplendent in 19th century glamour, but a contemporary box office and refurbished facilities bring Usher Hall up to date with style. Located near Princes Street's West end, its neighbours in the open plaza where it is set are two of Edinburgh's theatres, the Lyceum and the Traverse. As such, there are plenty of restaurants and pubs in the area, many of them offering pre-theatre menus.
