Run by the University of Edinburgh, there is not much lacking from the CSE in variety of facilities and resources. Memberships are available to students, staff, graduates, and the general public, and with truly exceptional equipment and support as well as a convenient central location, joining can be a great value to people from a variety of financial and lifestyle situations.
Home to one of the many climbing walls in Edinburgh, the gym, located on the Pleasance, also has dance studios, ball courts, martial arts areas, archery and rifle ranges, weights, and circuit training equipment. If all of that doesn't catch your fancy, there is a swimming pool around the corner, and numerous fitness classes available for almost any area and level of experience and intensity.
