Calton Hill is situated at the East End of Princes Street and features some of the most iconic view of Edinburgh as well as monuments and buildings, amongst others the National Monument, Nelson's Monument, the Dugald Stewart Monument, the New Parliament House (the Royal High School), the Robert Burns Monument, the Political Martyrs' Monument and the City Observatory.
