An indulgent afternoon tasting incredible artisan Scottish foods, paired with a selection of wine and single malt whisky. Your local guide is a Wine and Spirit Specialist with a passion for showcasing Scotland finest foods. Joanne, your host for the afternoon will teach you the art of wine and whisky tasting. You'll pick up wine and whisky tasting tips and tricks that you can put into practice at home or in a restaurant. You'll be taught to taste two contrasting Scottish single malt whisky's, paired with food. Joanne will make reservations in 3 beautiful Edinburgh restaurants. Each restaurant has been carefully selected as they provide the best, most delicious local, seasonal produce and incredible dining experience. The walking tour visits 3 contrasting restaurants, all a short, easy walk away from one another. On the walk between restaurants, Joanne will point out places of interest and share stories, answer questions and look after you. Joanne is a taster for The Royal Company of Merchants of the City of Edinburgh and loves to share stories of the fine dining experiences held in Merchants' Hall. The tour starts and ends in restaurants 5 minutes walk away from Waverley Train Station. The tour takes approximately 3 hours with a maximum of 10 guests. You will eat the equivalent of a lunch and taste 4 wines and 2 single malt Scotch whiskies.
