Edinburgh's Christmas Festival kicks off again on 26th November 2012, bringing a little bit of magic to the air over the festive period as crowds gather to do Christmas shopping at the German market, ride the ferris wheel or ice-skate in the gardens. Many of the attractions stick around until after Christmas - some of them until 6 January! There is always plenty to see and do and lots to taste and smell too, but the real highlight is the general festive cheer.
