Malleny is a walled garden and home to a collection of old-fashioned roses and fine herbaceous borders. A particular feature of the garden is the four 400-year-old clipped yew trees.

How to get to the Malleny Garden:

Bus: Lothian Buses (No 44) from Edinburgh city centre; First Edinburgh (Nos 44/66); buses run every 10 to 15 minutes daily. The bus stop is at the property entrance.

Cycling: 1 mile from NCN 75

Train: Nearest station is Curriehill, on Edinburgh/Shotts/Glasgow line.

Road: Off Lanark Road (A70)
