Travel north over the iconic Forth Road Bridge and stop in the idyllic village of Culross for a photo stop and morning refreshment break (not included). After leaving Culross, head to the 15th-century Doune Castle, used for many indoor and outdoor scenes in Outlander as Castle Leoch, the fictional home of the Mackenzie Clan. Purchase an entry ticket and spend time exploring the inside and outside of the castle with an audio guide. Stop for lunch at the magnificent Callendar House's drawing-room restaurant.
