As we showcase our spirit at different stages of the maturation journey, taste your way through 4 spirit samples ranging from completely unaged spirit to fully matured single malt. Get to know your fellow visitors in our cosy Holyrood at Home lounge as your guide welcomes you all to the distillery. Let us introduce you to our story as an urban, modern and innovative producer of scotch whisky, as we put Edinburgh back onto the whisky map as the city’s first single malt distillery for over a hundred years. Join your guide in our Spirits Lab, where you find our distillers busy researching, creating and perfecting our liquid. Discover our first step of whisky production and how we use heritage barleys to create whisky with unique texture and mouthfeel. Experience a hands on look at speciality malt and learn how different types of roasted malt can impact flavour. Moving through to our whisky distillery floor, your group reaches the heart of our spirit production hub.
